Smoked LED tail lights for the Toyota Prado 150 Series (2009–2023). Sequential indicators, full LED output, smoked lens. Plugs into your factory wiring, bolts into factory mounts. Two variants — pre-facelift and facelift. Left and right included, nothing else to buy.
The factory Prado lights work fine. Why upgrade?
The moment you see sequential LEDs flowing on a newer Prado, you can't unsee it on yours. The smoked finish removes the clear and amber, tightens up the rear end, and gives the Prado the look Toyota should have put on it from 2017 onwards. It's a 30-minute DIY job and there's nothing to wire — plugs straight in.
What's different from factory
Sequential indicators
Amber turn signals sweep outward in a flowing LED sequence — the same look that comes standard on newer Toyotas and European SUVs. Built into the housing, not a strip add-on. Thousands of Prado owners run them across Australia without issue.
Smoked lens — OEM profile, not aftermarket obvious
Same housing shape and mount as factory. The smoked finish replaces the clear and amber lenses. Keeps the Prado silhouette intact — from a distance it looks like a factory option, not an aftermarket fit.
Full LED — brake, tail, reverse and indicators
Every light function runs LED. Brighter brake lights, faster to illuminate, no globes to ever replace. More consistent output than factory incandescent.
No canbus errors, no hyperflash
Designed for Prado 150 factory electronics. Plug in and it works exactly as factory — no resistors, no coding, no auto electrician.
Everything else
Uses factory mounting points — no drilling
Sealed housing — weatherproof
UV-resistant lens — won't yellow or haze
No coding required
Left and right included — complete pair
Fits both pre-facelift and facelift variants
"Will these hold up as a daily driver and a touring vehicle?"
The Prado gets used for both. Sealed housings resist the dust and moisture from corrugated roads. UV-stable lenses won't cloud or yellow sitting in suburban sun all week. 12-month warranty backed by our NSW-based team — not a third party. If something fails, we deal with it.
Installation — 20 to 30 minutes
Phillips screwdriver. Beginner friendly.
1
Remove factory tail light — unscrew bolts accessible from inside the boot, unplug factory connector.
2
Plug the new unit into the factory wiring connector — direct fit, no splicing.
3
Seat in factory mount, secure with bolts. Repeat other side.
4
Test indicators, brake lights and reverse. Done.
No cutting, no coding. Step-by-step guide included. Live chat support available if needed.

✔
Pre-Facelift 2009–2016
Flat, smooth bonnet — no raised centre hump. Select this variant above.

Facelift 2017–2023
Raised power bulge running down the bonnet centre, angular headlights. Select this variant above.
Not sure which you have? Look at the bonnet — a raised hump down the centre = Facelift (2017+). Flat and smooth = Pre-Facelift (2009–2016). Prado 120 Series (2002–2009) and Prado 250 (2024+) are different vehicles and won't fit.

Common questions
How do I know if I have the pre-facelift or facelift Prado?
Look at the bonnet. The facelift (2017–2023) has a raised power bulge — a raised hump running down the centre of the bonnet — and angular headlights. The pre-facelift (2009–2016) has a flat, smooth bonnet and rounded headlights. Still unsure? Jump on live chat with a photo and we'll confirm in seconds.
Are sequential indicators legal in Australia?
Yes — sequential amber indicators are widely used across Australia. Thousands of Prado, LC200, Hilux and Patrol owners run them daily without issue. The turn signal function is identical to standard indicators, just displayed in a sweeping LED sequence. No problems at roadworthy inspections.
Will I get canbus errors or hyperflash?
No — designed for Prado 150 factory electronics without resistors. No dash warning lights, no hyperflash. If you experience any issue after install, message us on live chat and we'll sort it immediately.
I tow a trailer — will this affect my trailer indicators?
No — trailer wiring connects to the factory trailer plug, which is a separate circuit from the tail light wiring. Replacing the tail lights doesn't affect trailer indicator operation.
Will this fit the Prado 120 Series (2002–2009)?
No — different tail light housing shape. This product is for the Prado 150 Series only (2009–2023).
Will this affect my Toyota warranty?
The install is fully reversible — original tail lights unplug and refit exactly as they were. Under Australian Consumer Law, a modification can only affect warranty on parts directly related to it. Your engine, drivetrain and mechanical components are not affected.
