Built-in GPS tracks your position even in dead zones. Add Hema, Google Maps or Newtracs from the Play Store for full outback coverage. Independent of mobile data — always on.
Your AC controls don't change — manual or auto
This only replaces the radio. Whether your N70 has manual dials or auto climate control, the dash AC panel is a separate system and keeps working exactly as it does now — nothing to reconnect, nothing to lose.

Essentials vs Elite — which one?
Both run identical features. The difference is performance, storage and — the one that matters on tour — internet connectivity.
The Elite can have its own internet. Your phone stays in your pocket — if you want it to.
Drop your own data SIM into the head unit (not included) and it runs its own 4G connection, independent of your phone. Don't want to run a SIM? No problem — leave the slot empty and the Elite works exactly like the Essentials, off your phone's hotspot. The 4G is there if you want it, not a requirement.

Reverse camera — three easy options
Some N70 models have a factory reverse camera fitted, some don't. Whatever your situation, there's a simple path.

Keep your factory camera
A retention harness keeps it working with the new head unit. We don't stock this part ourselves, but it's a simple, widely available connector — message us your model and we'll point you in the right direction.

Use our camera instead
Add the 1080P reverse camera at checkout (+$100 with OBD reader). Works whether or not you have a factory camera fitted — no extra parts to source.

Don't connect a camera
Fully optional — the head unit works normally without any reverse camera connected.

Common questions
Will my air conditioning controls still work?

Yes — the head unit only replaces the radio. Your dash AC controls, manual or auto climate, are a completely separate system and unaffected. Nothing to reconnect, nothing changes there.
Does it work with my steering wheel controls?

If your N70 has factory steering wheel controls, they keep working straight away. Not all N70s do — it varies by year and grade. If yours doesn't have factory SWC, an aftermarket adaptor can add it — message us your build and we'll point you to the right one.
What's the real difference between Essentials and Elite?

Both have identical features — CarPlay, GPS, Android apps, SWC compatibility. The Elite has more RAM (smoother), more storage (4×), and a 4G SIM slot so the head unit can have its own internet independent of your phone (SIM card and data plan not included, sourced separately). If you never fit a SIM, Elite still runs off your phone's hotspot exactly like Essentials — the 4G is optional, not required.
Will it cause dash warning lights?

The included wiring harness is designed to prevent canbus errors on the N70 Hilux. If you have any issues after install, message us and we'll sort it.
I already have a factory reverse camera. Will it still work?

It will with a retention harness, which keeps it connected to the new head unit — we don't stock this ourselves, but it's a simple, widely available part. Message us your model and we'll point you in the right direction. If you'd rather skip that step entirely, our 1080P add-on camera (+$100 with OBD reader) works with no extra parts needed, or you can go without a reverse camera altogether — all three are equally straightforward.
Will this void my vehicle warranty?

The install is fully reversible — original parts unplug and refit exactly as they were. A manufacturer generally can't void your whole vehicle warranty over an unrelated aftermarket part, but we're not lawyers and this isn't legal advice — if you're unsure, it's worth a quick check with your dealer.
What's the returns policy?

30-day returns on unused, unopened items — store credit issued. Faulty unit? We cover return shipping and replace or refund under the 12-month warranty.
