Will these cause any warning lights or errors?
No. The 76 Series tail light circuit runs a direct 12V connection with no canbus monitoring on that circuit.
I tow a trailer — will this affect my trailer indicators?
No. Trailer wiring runs through the factory trailer plug, a separate circuit from the tail lights.
Will these fit my 78 or 79 Series?
No — this listing is for the 76 Series Wagon only. We have separate listings for the 78 Series Troopy and 79 Series. Message us and we'll point you to the right one.
Is the sweeping indicator legal to run?
It's common on Australian 4WDs and entirely optional — you don't need to wire it in to use the tail lights. If road compliance matters to you, worth a quick check with your state's transport authority before connecting it.
