The factory tail lights work. But they haven’t been updated in over two decades. Full LED output, optional sequential sweep, start-up animation — a direct bolt-in that modernises the rear end without changing what the Troopy is. The optional sequential wire is in the box. Connect it if you want it. Leave it if you don’t.

The sequential wire is included. Connect it for a flowing amber sweep, or leave it disconnected and the indicators work exactly as standard. No obligation either way — you decide after it’s fitted.

When exactly will my order ship?
Q3 2026. This is a limited production batch — orders dispatch in the sequence received. Pre-ordering earlier secures an earlier allocation within that window. You’ll receive tracking as soon as your set ships.
Can I cancel my pre-order?
Yes — if you change your mind before dispatch, message us and we’ll issue a full refund. Once dispatched, our standard 30-day return policy applies on unused items.
Do I have to use the sequential indicators?
No — the sequential wire is included but entirely optional. Leave it disconnected and your indicators work exactly as standard. Connect it only if you want the sweeping amber sequence. You can change your mind any time after fitting.
Are sequential indicators legal in Australia?
Yes — sequential amber indicators are widely used across Australia. Thousands of 78 Series, 76 Series and Patrol owners run them daily without issue.
Will these fit my 76 or 79 Series?
No — this listing is for the 78 Series Troop Carrier only. We have separate listings for the 76 Series Wagon and 79 Series. Message us and we’ll point you to the right one.
Will these cause any warning lights?
No. The 78 Series tail light circuit runs a direct 12V connection — there’s no canbus monitoring on the tail light circuit. These are a plug-in replacement using the factory connector. No errors, no warning lights.
I tow a trailer — will this affect my trailer indicators?
No — trailer wiring connects to the factory trailer plug, a separate circuit from the tail light wiring. Replacing the tail lights doesn’t affect trailer indicator operation.
What’s the returns policy?
30-day returns on unused, unopened items post-dispatch — store credit issued. Faulty unit? We cover return shipping and replace or refund under the 12-month warranty. Full policy here.
