The LC100 deserves better
than factory halogen.

The 100 Series was built to last decades — its factory headlights weren't. Scattered halogen output, faded lenses and a beam that barely reaches the next corner are the reality for every LC100 owner driving at night. These bi-LED projector assemblies replace the entire headlight unit with focused projector output, integrated DRL and clean OEM+ styling — plug into the factory H4 connector, bolt into the factory mount.

Unclip the factory H4 connector. Remove the retaining bolts — typically 3 per side. Factory headlight pulls straight out.

Seat the new assemblies

New headlights bolt directly into factory mounting points. Same holes, same bolts — no modification, no brackets.

Connect the H4 plug

Factory H4 connector plugs straight into the included harness. Main connection done.

Wire the DRL (optional)

Connect the DRL lead to park lights for always-on, or ignition for key-on. Both options in the included guide.

Adjust beam height

Fine-tune with the adjuster screws — aim for the horizon at 10m. Aim too high and you're dazzling oncoming traffic. Step-by-step included.

Straight answers

Do these fit both pre-facelift (1998–2002) and facelift (2003–2007)?

Yes — these fit the full 100 Series production run 1998–2007. Pre-facelift models (1998–2002) may have a small gap underneath the headlight housing due to slight differences in the front end profile. The headlights install and function perfectly either way — it's cosmetic only. If you want a flush factory finish, the trim piece you need is simply the standard factory part from the facelift (2003–2007) model — nothing special, just a Toyota part. Facelift models (2003–2007) fit flush with no gap at all.

Will I get canbus errors or a dash warning light?

The LC100 doesn't run a canbus system for headlights — it uses a straightforward H4 halogen circuit. LED load issues that cause errors on modern vehicles don't apply here. No relay harness or resistors needed.

Will the housings fog up inside?

These housings use controlled ventilation to manage internal pressure. Minor temporary condensation after a cold night is normal and clears when the lights warm up. Persistent fogging or water intrusion is covered under the 12-month warranty.

Do I need an auto electrician to install these?

No. The H4 connection is a simple plug swap. The DRL is the only additional wire and it's clearly covered in the guide. Most LC100 owners who've never done headlights before complete the install in under 90 minutes.

⚠ Not compatible with LX470 — the Lexus uses different mounting brackets and auto-levelling hardware. LC100 only. Not sure if you have an LC100 or LX470? Check your compliance plate — the LC100 will show "LAND CRUISER".

📌 Pre-facelift owners (1998–2002): fits and functions perfectly, but there may be a small gap underneath the headlight. For a flush factory finish, the part you need is simply the standard trim piece from the facelift (2003–2007) model — a regular Toyota factory part, nothing special to fabricate or source aftermarket.

⚠ ADR Compliance — Read Before Ordering

These headlights are not ADR approved for use on Australian public roads. They are sold for off-road and touring applications.

What this means in practice: the light output and beam pattern significantly exceed factory halogen — but they haven't been certified through Australia's ADR approval process for on-road use. That certification is expensive and not common for aftermarket replacements in this price range.

Many LC100 owners run these on-road without issue. However, it is your responsibility to check your state's vehicle standards authority and your insurer before fitting them to a registered vehicle used on public roads.
