Will these fit my custom tray?
Most custom trays yes — the lights are 330×110mm with pre-installed rear studs. If your tray has existing mounting points at roughly that spacing, they bolt straight on. If not, you’ll need to drill — normal for tray light installs. Not sure? Send us a photo and we’ll confirm.
What trays do these commonly go on?
LC79 trays, Hilux trays (N70, N80), Patrol trays, Ranger trays, Norweld, TJM, MCC, custom fabrications, canopy builds and flat decks. Any 12V system with standard tray wiring.
Do I need to drill my tray?
Possibly — depends on whether your existing holes line up with the rear studs. If they do, it’s a direct bolt-on. If not, you’ll drill — this is normal for tray light installs. Send us a photo before ordering if you’re unsure.
Do I need an electrician to wire these?
Basic wiring knowledge is enough — you’re connecting 5 colour-coded wires to your existing tray loom. If you’re not confident, a sparky can knock it over in under 30 minutes.
Do these fit the Suzuki Jimny?
Yes — direct plug-and-play for the Suzuki Jimny 2018+. Uses the factory wiring connector and factory mounting bolts. No drilling, no modifications. Built-in resistors mean no hyperflash, no relay needed. Under 30 minutes.
When does the start-up animation run?
Every time your park lights switch on — the twin halo rings cycle through a sequence before settling into normal operation.
What about standard factory tub utes (Hilux, Patrol, Ranger etc.)?
